Silica sand is a mineral that consists predominantly of quartz grains. Quartz is one of the most common and simultaneously most diverse minerals in the Earth’s crust. The surfaces of quartz crystals exhibit a glassy lustre, which makes it one of the more popular precious stones. With its dimensionally stable and light-reflecting properties, quartz forms an ideal basis for the mineral wall and floor coverings from Naturofloor.
The white cement for Naturofloor consists of carefully selected raw materials of the highest quality. A complex firing process prevents the formation of dark clinker components. White cement can be coloured more effectively with colour pigments than grey cement, as the results are brighter and more attractive.
In combination with a small proportion of synthetic materials, the result is floor coverings that not only impress with their pleasing properties, but also with their everyday functionality and ease of care.
