To do this, we applied 210 colour sample panels as well as various textures and glazes to large areas. Many of our partners and certified specialists have smaller exhibitions with and without consultation services.
Naturofloor is manufactured in Switzerland and can be delivered within approx. 3-4 working days. Delivery times outside Switzerland are approx. 5-7 working days. Naturofloor is installed according to a defined process. After completion of the drying time of 5 days, water impact is possible, and complete hardening is achieved after 20 days. Due to the various work steps and drying phases, precise project planning is of great importance. Allow at least 10 working days for properties with wall and floor coverings. Your certified specialist will be able to give you more detailed information after inspecting the property/discussing the project.
Naturofloor is perfectly compatible with dogs and cats. We are aware that pets’ claws cannot be retracted, but as long as they walk normally, the claws leave no marks. Of course, there are different breeds, sizes, claw types, etc. and with a strong play instinct or when pulling on the lead, a dog builds up enormous pressure on its claws. Slight claw marks in the lacquered surface will disappear with cleaning and care.

While these products are manufactured mechanically, Naturofloor is levelled by hand in several layers and all components must be coordinated. This is referred to as system design, and includes the substrate, the preparatory work and, last but not least, the surface treatment. Attaching customised protective sliders (e.g. felt) to chairs, tables, bar stools, sofas, armchairs, vases and other decorative objects protects the floor. Parquet rubber castors should be used for office chairs.
Naturofloor coverings can be easily drilled through, as the covering has a layer thickness of only approx. 4 mm. The Naturofloor colour card was produced using a printing process based on prefabricated Naturofloor original samples and is intended for visual colour selection, not for assessing large-scale applications. The colours shown may differ from the shade of the actual product. We recommend sampling using hand samples, which can be purchased from our online shop, or large sample panels from the specialist contractor carrying out the work.
The Naturofloor surfaces come to life through their unique and individual textures. Smooth surfaces can be realised in any area. Coarser or ribbed textures are less suitable for floors, as the ease of maintenance is impaired. These are more appropriate for walls and decorative elements.

- Underfloor heating must not be installed.
- A floor with drainage must have a gradient of at least 3%.
- Install a suitable shower channel, for example Aqua Swissline Vario or Flex. Shower channels or drains with secondary drainage are not suitable.
- Frame spacing for installation in the surface (adjacent to the wall or at least 10 cm from the wall).
- Calculation of the covering thickness for installation on the wall (remove base plaster, insert webbing).
- Elimination of the wedge rail. Glue the glass partition directly to the finished covering with natural stone silicone. Installation is recommended on sloping floors with gradients.
The slip resistance of Naturofloor is R9-R10, which corresponds to a normal static friction coefficient. As Naturofloor is levelled by hand, the texture can be finer or thicker. A very coarse texture increases slip resistance, but limescale and dirt also settle more easily and cleaning becomes more intensive. Tip: The required gradient of 3% allows water and shower detergent to soak away more quickly, which also contributes to slip resistance.

The prerequisite for Naturofloor coverings are load-bearing, crack-free and well-compacted substrates in accordance with the applicable SIA norms (Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects). After preparation, the substrate must be firm, dry, fine-grained and load-bearing, free of cement slurry, loose and friable parts and substances with a separating effect such as oil, grease, rubber abrasion, paint residues or similar. Movement joints must be adopted, and cracks in the substrate cannot be spanned by Naturofloor alone.

Yes, Naturofloor can be applied well on a professionally installed underlay with underfloor heating. The mineral raw materials allow for high thermal conductivity, which contributes to energy consumption. The exception is the shower, where Naturofloor cannot be installed on a substrate with underfloor heating.
Naturofloor is applied as a seamless levelling compound directly onto the professionally installed panels. There are different systems/panel types - but they all have one thing in common: the panel joints. Movements and stresses are relieved at the panel joint and cannot be absorbed by Naturofloor alone; there is a risk of cracking. Double panelling is therefore necessary. Double panelling permits the expert application of Naturofloor. The specifications for the respective systems are supplied by the panel manufacturer.

Yes, Naturofloor can be applied to existing tiles as long as the tiles do not have any cracks or hollow areas. Shower floors are excluded.
The Naturofloor installation height is approx. 3-5 millimetres, depending on the substrate. This makes the system ideal for renovations, as existing and suitable substrates can often be reworked. Despite the low layer thickness, Naturofloor impresses with its durability on walls and floors.

Recommended cleaning products
Naturofloor FLOOR and BATH cleaners with effective microorganisms are gentle on surfaces but powerful against dirt and odors. They are made in Switzerland, vegan, environmentally friendly, and also ideal for allergy sufferers.
The original Naturofloor covering is triple-sealed and extremely easy to clean. Simply carry out weekly maintenance cleaning with a vacuum cleaner and a high-quality microfibre cloth/mop (damp cleaning). Please see our care instructions for more information.
Thanks to the easy-care properties of Naturofloor, there is no need to use a steam cleaner. If a steam cleaner is used due to heavy soiling, then only use indirect steam (microfibre attachment). Please note that prolonged exposure to steam can lead to softening of the lacquer coating.

Naturofloor does not allow liquids to penetrate, but spilt liquids should be wiped up. If water or liquids do not evaporate and thus act on the sealant for a longer period of time (permanent wetness) (shower products, scented oils, plant water), the sealant can soften and become stained. Therefore, place animal feeding bowls and flower pots at a slightly raised elevation so that air can circulate. Hair dyes, coffee, curry, saffron, oil, disinfectants etc. can attack and discolour the sealant if left on for a long time.

Mold growth and migration is practically impossible on a professionally sealed Naturofloor covering, as the pores are closed and sealed.
Mold requires high humidity (over 60%) or damp surfaces to grow. Mold spores find ideal breeding grounds on organic materials such as wood, wallpaper, fabrics and open absorbent surfaces. Insufficient ventilation can increase the humidity indoors and thus certainly promote mold growth.
If you still have the feeling that mold has formed on your Naturofloor, try to remove the affected areas with water and a brush (circular movements). If the mold reappears, we recommend that you contact a specialist tradesman who will then remove the silicone joints, clean the flooring, sand it and seal it 1-2 times.
Please note that mold removers are usually very strong and generally require a longer exposure time, which could damage our sealant.
Commercially available bathroom cleaners or descaling agents can be used in diluted form (ratio 1:10) without hesitation. Strongly alkaline, corrosive agents containing solvents or alcohol should be avoided completely when cleaning Naturofloor surfaces. We recommend Naturofloor fragrance and sanitary cleaners for cleaning. These are biodegradable and can be purchased from certified specialist retailers.

Yes, vacuum and mopping robots are generally designed to be suitable for natural flooring and clean gently. Nevertheless, scratches can occur in individual cases - for example if sand, small stones or other foreign objects stick to the wheels or brushes and are dragged across the surface. Blocked or hard wheels can also cause scuff marks.
The best way to prevent damage is to maintain your robot regularly: Clean wheels and brushes thoroughly, remove coarse dirt before cleaning and, if possible, use models with soft rubber wheels and good navigation. Cheap devices or those with worn components carry a higher risk of scratches.

Naturofloor is installed according to a defined process. After completion of the drying time of 5 days, water impact is possible, and complete hardening is achieved after 20 days. Due to the various work steps and drying phases, precise project planning is of great importance. Allow at least 10 working days for properties with wall and floor coverings. Your certified specialist will be able to give you more detailed information after inspecting the property/discussing the project.
The guide price from CHF 190/m² for Naturofloor coverings is for a substrate prepared for application with Naturofloor and applies as an area price from 20 m² and above. Smaller areas are charged at cost or at a flat rate. A local certified specialist will be happy to provide you with a detailed quote.
Naturofloor is perfectly compatible with dogs and cats. We are aware that pets’ claws cannot be retracted, but as long as they walk normally, the claws leave no marks. Of course, there are different breeds, sizes, claw types, etc. and with a strong play instinct or when pulling on the lead, a dog builds up enormous pressure on its claws. Slight claw marks in the lacquered surface will disappear with cleaning and care.

Naturofloor floor and wall coverings can be used practically anywhere: from private living spaces in modern new buildings to renovation projects and prestigious commercial premises. Naturofloor is suitable for living spaces and wet areas, kitchen splashbacks and worktops, furniture coatings and fireplace panelling, decorative walls and staircases, as well as for use in public buildings.

Naturofloor was developed for wet areas and can be installed as a floor covering in the shower without hesitation. Recommended cleaning products
Naturofloor FLOOR and BATH cleaners with effective microorganisms are gentle on surfaces but powerful against dirt and odors. They are made in Switzerland, vegan, environmentally friendly, and also ideal for allergy sufferers.
The original Naturofloor covering is triple-sealed and extremely easy to clean. Simply carry out weekly maintenance cleaning with a vacuum cleaner and a high-quality microfibre cloth/mop (damp cleaning). Please see our care instructions for more information.
Thanks to the easy-care properties of Naturofloor, there is no need to use a steam cleaner. If a steam cleaner is used due to heavy soiling, then only use indirect steam (microfibre attachment). Please note that prolonged exposure to steam can lead to softening of the lacquer coating.

Most damage caused by heavy impact, heat or chemicals, can usually be repaired on site. To do this, contact your certified specialist.
Naturofloor does not allow liquids to penetrate, but spilt liquids should be wiped up. If water or liquids do not evaporate and thus act on the sealant for a longer period of time (permanent wetness) (shower products, scented oils, plant water), the sealant can soften and become stained. Therefore, place animal feeding bowls and flower pots at a slightly raised elevation so that air can circulate. Hair dyes, coffee, curry, saffron, oil, disinfectants etc. can attack and discolour the sealant if left on for a long time.

Naturofloor’s resistance to point loads lies between that of high-quality parquet and ceramic flooring. While these products are manufactured mechanically, Naturofloor is levelled by hand in several layers and all components must be coordinated. This is referred to as system design, and includes the substrate, the preparatory work and, last but not least, the surface treatment. Attaching customised protective sliders (e.g. felt) to chairs, tables, bar stools, sofas, armchairs, vases and other decorative objects protects the floor. Parquet rubber castors should be used for office chairs.
Naturofloor coverings can be easily drilled through, as the covering has a layer thickness of only approx. 4 mm. Subsequent drilling is not recommended in the shower area in order to maintain the impermeability of the surface. Toilet sets and towel rails can be fitted with plugs and screws, which has proved an effective solution.

The question of whether the adhesives’ constituents leave traces on our flooring has often been posed. In recent years, natural stone silicone has proved the most effective solution. In contrast to conventional silicones and adhesives, natural stone silicone has the positive property of not staining the edges.

The prerequisite for Naturofloor coverings are load-bearing, crack-free and well-compacted substrates in accordance with the applicable SIA norms (Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects). After preparation, the substrate must be firm, dry, fine-grained and load-bearing, free of cement slurry, loose and friable parts and substances with a separating effect such as oil, grease, rubber abrasion, paint residues or similar. Movement joints must be adopted, and cracks in the substrate cannot be spanned by Naturofloor alone.
Naturofloor can be applied to cement underlay floors, anhydrite and tile screeds, cement-based plasters, lightweight walls and tiles.
Yes, Naturofloor can be applied well on a professionally installed underlay with underfloor heating. The mineral raw materials allow for high thermal conductivity, which contributes to energy consumption. The exception is the shower, where Naturofloor cannot be installed on a substrate with underfloor heating.
Naturofloor is applied as a seamless levelling compound directly onto the professionally installed panels. There are different systems/panel types - but they all have one thing in common: the panel joints. Movements and stresses are relieved at the panel joint and cannot be absorbed by Naturofloor alone; there is a risk of cracking. Double panelling is therefore necessary. Double panelling permits the expert application of Naturofloor. The specifications for the respective systems are supplied by the panel manufacturer.
Naturofloor was developed for wet areas and can be installed as a floor covering in the shower without hesitation. The following parameters must be observed:
- For floor-level shower trays, the cement screed must be separated from the rest of the floor covering.
- Underfloor heating must not be installed.
- A floor with drainage must have a gradient of at least 3%.
- Install a suitable shower channel, for example Aqua Swissline Vario or Flex. Shower channels or drains with secondary drainage are not suitable.
- Frame spacing for installation in the surface (adjacent to the wall or at least 10 cm from the wall).
- Calculation of the covering thickness for installation on the wall (remove base plaster, insert webbing).
- Elimination of the wedge rail. Glue the glass partition directly to the finished covering with natural stone silicone. Installation is recommended on sloping floors with gradients.

Mineral and non-plastic-based sealants must be used. We therefore recommend PCI Seccoral 2K Rapid and waterproofing tapes.
A recessed shower niche is a practical and visually attractive solution for storing shampoo and shower gel etc.. There is no need to drill or glue additional brackets.
Whether solid or drywall construction, Naturofloor can be easily applied to a handcrafted niche. The shelf has a slight gradient of 3% and a smooth, well-compacted surface.
The slip resistance of Naturofloor is R9-R10, which corresponds to a normal static friction coefficient. As Naturofloor is levelled by hand, the texture can be finer or thicker. A very coarse texture increases slip resistance, but limescale and dirt also settle more easily and cleaning becomes more intensive. Tip: The required gradient of 3% allows water and shower detergent to soak away more quickly, which also contributes to slip resistance.
Naturofloor is classified as follows in terms of its fire behaviour: Bfl-s1 (flame retardant).
How can a mixture of quartz sand and cement be flame retardant?
The Naturofloor finished flooring is sealed and therefore categorised as flame-retardant Bfl-s1; unsealed it would be non-combustible class A.

Yes, Naturofloor can be applied to existing tiles as long as the tiles do not have any cracks or hollow areas. Shower floors are excluded.

Mold growth and migration is practically impossible on a professionally sealed Naturofloor covering, as the pores are closed and sealed.
Mold requires high humidity (over 60%) or damp surfaces to grow. Mold spores find ideal breeding grounds on organic materials such as wood, wallpaper, fabrics and open absorbent surfaces. Insufficient ventilation can increase the humidity indoors and thus certainly promote mold growth.
If you still have the feeling that mold has formed on your Naturofloor, try to remove the affected areas with water and a brush (circular movements). If the mold reappears, we recommend that you contact a specialist tradesman who will then remove the silicone joints, clean the flooring, sand it and seal it 1-2 times.
Please note that mold removers are usually very strong and generally require a longer exposure time, which could damage our sealant.
Commercially available bathroom cleaners or descaling agents can be used in diluted form (ratio 1:10) without hesitation. Strongly alkaline, corrosive agents containing solvents or alcohol should be avoided completely when cleaning Naturofloor surfaces. We recommend Naturofloor fragrance and sanitary cleaners for cleaning. These are biodegradable and can be purchased from certified specialist retailers.

The Naturofloor installation height is approx. 3-5 millimetres, depending on the substrate. This makes the system ideal for renovations, as existing and suitable substrates can often be reworked. Despite the low layer thickness, Naturofloor impresses with its durability on walls and floors.
Yes, vacuum and mopping robots are generally designed to be suitable for natural flooring and clean gently. Nevertheless, scratches can occur in individual cases - for example if sand, small stones or other foreign objects stick to the wheels or brushes and are dragged across the surface. Blocked or hard wheels can also cause scuff marks.
The best way to prevent damage is to maintain your robot regularly: Clean wheels and brushes thoroughly, remove coarse dirt before cleaning and, if possible, use models with soft rubber wheels and good navigation. Cheap devices or those with worn components carry a higher risk of scratches.
